Before I started with Melissa, I had little knowledge of my instrument, despite having
attained grade 5. In the 3 years that I have been taught by Melissa, with her vast knowledge
and experience, I have learnt so many techniques which have massively improved my skill in
playing. Alongside this, my reading and
knowledge of music, as well as my interpretation, have all improved under Melissa's tuition,
and I will be taking my grade 8 in a few months time.
I have always really enjoyed the lessons, as she is prompt, focussed, attentive and is very
approachable and friendly. I would definitely recommend Melissa's tuition to anyone who
is learning or developing their skill in playing a brass instrument.
