Do you have a waiting list?

Yes, if I do not have capacity at the time of your enquiry, I will add you to my waiting list and be back in touch if and when a suitable slot opens up. If, whilst on my waiting list, you find a teacher, please let me know so that I can update my records.

What is your cancellation policy?

I advise everyone on this at the time of confirming your lessons but my cancellation policy is that lessons must be lifted from their regular booking no later than 24 hours ahead of the lesson. For example, if your lesson is at 4.30 on a Friday, you must cancel it by 4.30 on Thursday to avoid a charge. This allows me to fill the time and replace the income, if I can.

I understand that you cannot plan for illness, though, and cancellations due to illness are not charged.

Can lessons take place online?

As a general rule, I find that the lesson experience for both teacher and learner is better in person wherever possible. However, we can explore a hybrid model, and online lessons can be useful if a student is travelling but would like to continue lessons, or if either party is poorly but would like to have a lesson (mild cold, for example) or to support another similar temporary lesson adjustment.
